Inspired by a vintage 1930s block, the Tonganoxie Nine-Patch is full of charm, simplicity, and smart construction. In this workshop, you’ll use fat quarters and a sew-before-you-cut method to make two blocks at a time an efficient, beginner-friendly technique with polished results. Whether you’re working with cheerful 1930s reproduction prints, soft florals, or bold modern fabrics, this quilt transforms beautifully with your unique fabric style. The finished quilt has a cozy, timeless look with just enough twist to keep things interesting. This class is a little vintage, a little modern, and completely satisfying. Come ready to sew, cut, and fall in love with this nostalgic beauty. Quilt finishes at 65″ x 80″. Workshop length: 4 hours Skill level: Confident Beginner and up Supplies needed: Sewing machine, rotary cutter & mat, quilting ruler, pins, and seam ripper. Quilt requires 20 fat quarters, 5 yards background fabric. (1 yard of background fabric should be enough for class)
